Hello Fam,

Sometime in February, I called a friend of mine to check up on her and her countenance was down, I asked what the problem was and she told me her childhood friend named Rosemary was diagnosed with Rectal Cancer.

To know more about Rosemary, I was told she lost her dad some years back and was left with her mom and siblings of which she is the breadwinner. I immediately felt empathy towards and her and urges Placida for us to start fundraising for her treatment.

To cut the stories, Rosemary realized close to two million nairas for her chemotherapy procedure from donors and a philanthropist offered to pay for the surgery in a period of two months.

I was ecstatic with the outcome and from time to time, I and Placida visit to encourage her and to my surprise baby girl fiercely possesses an extraordinary faith. There is this time we visited in March and the sight of her alone drew tears from my eyes but do you know what? She encouraged me and assured us that she will come out victorious.

So about yesterday, we visited Rosemary and baby girl is balling, she is looking so fresh, healthier and beautiful. She has just completed her chemotherapy and she is about to go for a city scan to know the status of cancer and prepare for her surgery.

I want to use this medium to thank Placida for starting this journey with me.
Baby girl, the memories will last for a lifetime, thanks for being an amazing human, God bless and bless you continuously.

My gratitude also goes to every one of you who had contributed a Penny to save Rosemary’s life, may the Almighty God bless you and keep sickness away from you and your household.
Amen

As for the Almighty God, I don’t need to say much here because he knows I am forever grateful to HIM.
Thank you, Lord.
